“Tapt.” is an organic vitamin water sourced from maple trees in Island Pond Vermont. The Maple Guild is the creator of Grand A maple syrup and maple products. They had created a natural maple water infused with minerals, electrolytes, and vitamins but needed to position it as a flavorful energy drink rather than a maple water due to the market’s negative response to their competitor’s previous maple waters. The design puts the list of heath benefits front and center in a clean, minimal black and white label. Bright colors are reserved for the flavor differentiation. Due to natural flavoring and absents of artificial dyes, distinction between flavors wasn’t visible solely by the water’s tint. Therefor, a spectrum of bright colors that better describe each flavor was introduced.
